April had a longstanding and successful career in commercial and residential real estate in her 20’s, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate with a finance concentration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. At the same time, she embraced a passion for law and enrolled in law school at Whittier Law School in Southern California.

Law School: Graduating in 2010, April appeared on the Dean’s List and was honored to earn the coveted “Student Leader of the Year” award by her peers for her work as President of the Women’s Law Student Association.

Judge Clerkships: April worked as a civil and criminal law clerk for the Honorable Elaine Streger, Superior Court of California, County of Orange in Southern California.

Legal Career: After law school, April practiced complex bankruptcy and business litigation at a prominent civil litigation firm in Las Vegas, Nevada. After a couple years, she decided to change directions and sought to begin her own private law practice. It has now been five years into the evolution of focusing her work solely on plaintiff’s personal injury.

Some Extras: April has earned many honors and awards in her career such as Distinguished Women & Men in Nevada, 2014 Special Edition of Distinguished Women in Nevada. She was also honored to speak at the Ronald Reagan Ranch and selected by late Phyllis Schlafly as one of six Eagle Forum Collegians Scholars/Speakers, chosen out of a group of 200 collegians, to speak at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. in 2010.
